ABOUT US
Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
Finding an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for your surgical care is not to be taken lightly. Board Certification demonstrates exceptional expertise in a particular specialty or subspecialty of medical practice. Not all surgeons become Board Certified, or even board eligible.
The specialty board recognizes a surgeon has met the highest standard of education, training, knowledge, and excellence in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through rigorous evaluation and examinations.
Hospitals, patients, and insurers look for Board Certification as the best measure of a practitioner's knowledge, experience, and skills to provide quality health care within a given specialty.
A “Diplomate” status by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery indicates Board Certification has been achieved.
